Job Description Project Coordinator - Compartmentation, Fire Doors & Dampers

As SOCOTEC grows, so do our teams. We’re looking for a dedicated Project Coordinator to join our Environment & Safety division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.

We are seeking a proactive, dependable, and adaptable Project Coordinator to join our Environment & Safety team.

In this role, you will provide efficient project coordination support to meet business objectives and ensure the smooth delivery of projects. You will be responsible for validating and proofreading reports, maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy, and ensuring all client reports are issued promptly and within agreed timescales.

The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):

  • To receive work from client and set it up on the information management system
  • To administer the NPS and client feedback follow-up procedure via email and telephone calls.
  • Ensure regular touchpoints with clients.
  • Provide cover for adhoc enquiries and projects as capacity allows.
  • To assist in completion of fee proposals within specified timescales.
  • Maintain project trackers and input data accurately
  • Uploading and downloading information from client systems
  • Monitoring and maintaining KPI’s, escalating issues should they arise
  • Scheduling and forward planning of site visits to ensure cost effective programming

Qualifications

To be a successful Project Coordinator, you should be able to demonstrate:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrate excellent work ethic and contributes to a positive culture
  • Intermediate level in MS Office and business management software (e.g., CRM, ERP) Analytical mindset with strategic problem-solving skills
