Duties
- Develop, test, and deploy robust web applications using languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, and Ruby on Rails.
- Design and implement APIs and RESTful services to facilitate seamless data exchange between systems.
- Collaborate within Agile teams to plan sprints, review progress, and adapt workflows for maximum efficiency.
- Maintain and improve application performance by troubleshooting issues and optimizing codebases on platforms like Linux, Windows, AWS, and Azure.
- Manage version control using tools such as GitHub, Git, SVN, ensuring code integrity and collaborative development.
- Integrate third-party services and APIs to expand application capabilities while adhering to best security practices.
- Contribute to front-end development efforts with expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks, and responsive design principles.
Requirements
- Proven experience in software development across multiple programming languages including C++, C#, Java, Python, Ruby on Rails, or VBA.
- Strong understanding of web development principles, REST APIs, SQL databases such as MySQL or SQL Server, and application deployment on cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies including JavaScript frameworks and responsive design techniques.
- Hands-on experience with version control systems such as GitHub or SVN for collaborative project management.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies to facilitate iterative development cycles and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work effectively in Linux environments as well as Windows-based systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail; ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues swiftly.
