Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated IT Software Developer with 1+ year of experience to join our technology team. The candidate will be involved in developing, maintaining and enhancing software applications, APIs and data-driven solutions.
The ideal candidate should have strong programming fundamentals, good problem-solving skills and an eagerness to work on modern technologies and enterprise-level applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and enhance web applications and backend services.
- Write clean, scalable and maintainable code.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs with applications and services.
- Work with databases and perform CRUD operations, queries and data management.
- Debug, troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
- Participate in code reviews, testing and deployment activities.
- Collaborate with developers, data scientists and other technical teams.
- Integrate third-party APIs and internal services where required.
- Understand project requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
- Maintain technical documentation and follow development best practices.
- Work with version-control systems such as Git.
- Learn and work with AI/ML, cloud and data technologies as required by projects.
Required Skills
- 1+ year of hands-on experience in software/IT development.
- Good knowledge of Python, Java, JavaScript or similar programming languages.
- Strong understanding of OOP concepts, data structures and programming fundamentals.
- Experience with REST APIs and web services.
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub or other version-control systems.
- Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Good debugging and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Good to Have
- Experience with Django, FastAPI, Flask, Node.js or similar frameworks.
- Knowledge of React.js or other frontend technologies.
- Exposure to AI/ML, GenAI, LLM or RAG applications.
- Knowledge of Docker, Redis, RabbitMQ or cloud platforms.
- Exposure to AWS or other cloud environments.
- Understanding of data pipelines, ETL/ELT or data engineering concepts.
