Responsibilities
- Review electricity bills and determine suitable system capacity.
- Conduct or verify roof measurements, shading and structural suitability.
- Prepare module layouts, SLDs, string configuration and generation estimates.
- Select modules, inverters, mounting structures, cables and protection systems.
- Prepare standard BOM and costing for common residential capacities such as 2 kW, 3 kW, 5 kW and 10 kW.
- Approve quotations before issue.
- Plan installation schedules and material requirements.
- Supervise technical quality, testing, commissioning and handover.
- Ensure compliance with MSEDCL, MNRE, CEA and applicable safety requirements.
- Train site engineers and technicians.
- Handle escalated customer and warranty complaints.
Required qualification
- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering preferred.
- Electrical & Electronics or Renewable Energy qualifications are also accepted.
- AutoCAD and Excel required.
- PVsyst, HelioScope or SketchUp desirable.
- Valid Maharashtra Electrical Supervisor permit is highly desirable.
Required experience
- 4–6 years in solar/electrical projects.
- Minimum 2–3 years specifically in residential rooftop solar.
- Should have completed projects independently from survey to commissioning.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Nagpur, Maharashtra (Nagpur): Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Education:
- Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:
- Rooftop Solar Projects: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- Valid Maharashtra Electrical Supervisor permit (Required)
