What you'll do
- Build, test and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines (batch and incremental)
- Ingest data from databases, APIs, flat files, cloud storage and enterprise applications
- Write transformations in SQL and Python and implement source-to-target mappings
- Profile data and catch anomalies, duplicates, missing values and broken relationships
- Build automated data-quality rules, cleansing logic, reconciliation and exception handling
- Find the root cause of recurring data issues and fix them at the source
- Support data migration and integration projects; monitor and troubleshoot pipelines
- Write clean, tested code, take part in code reviews and document mappings and rules
- Work with senior engineers, QA, BI and client stakeholders
What you need
- 3–6 years in data engineering, ETL development or data integration
- Strong SQL and working Python
- Hands-on ETL/ELT pipeline development with relational databases
- Data integration through APIs, databases, files or cloud storage
- Data modeling and source-to-target mapping
- Data validation, profiling, cleansing or reconciliation
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure or a modern cloud data platform
Good to have
- Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift, Synapse, Glue, ADF, Airflow or dbt
- ERP, CRM, PIM or PLM data; product, customer, supplier, material or location master data
- Manufacturing, retail, distribution or consumer-goods domain
- Consulting or client-facing delivery
