Cleaning & Operations Supervisor
Rugby and surrounding areas
£15.00 per hour | Approximately 20 hours per week | Company vehicle provided
Solutions Services Ltd is looking for a confident, organised and reliable Cleaning & Operations Supervisor to support the day-to-day running of our commercial cleaning contracts across Rugby and the surrounding areas.
This is a hands-on, mobile supervisory role. You will regularly visit client sites, support our cleaning teams, monitor cleaning standards and help resolve day-to-day operational issues.
You will be a key point of contact for both our cleaning teams and clients while working closely with our HR, administration and stores teams.
This is not an office-based role. Much of your working time will be spent visiting and supporting different client sites.
Main duties
- Regularly visit client sites to monitor cleaning standards and ensure services are being delivered as expected
- Supervise, support and provide guidance to Cleaning Operatives and Site Team Leaders
- Carry out quality checks and site inspections
- Provide practical on-site training and support where required
- Carry out occasional cleaning tasks when operationally required
- Respond to day-to-day client queries and service issues
- Help resolve operational problems and ensure agreed actions are followed through
- Help coordinate short-notice cover and changes to cleaning arrangements
- Support new contract starts, one-off cleans and changes to existing services
- Identify training, support or performance concerns and work closely with our HR Manager where appropriate
- Maintain clear records of site visits, quality checks and actions taken
- Work alongside our administration and stores teams to ensure sites have the information, equipment and supplies they need
About you
We are looking for someone who is:
- Organised and able to plan and manage their own workload
- Confident supervising, supporting and communicating with staff
- Comfortable dealing directly with clients
- Practical and calm when unexpected problems arise
- Able to make sensible day-to-day decisions and take responsibility for following them through
- Reliable and comfortable working independently across multiple sites
- Approachable and able to build good working relationships with both employees and clients
- Comfortable addressing cleaning standards and giving constructive feedback
- Confident using basic IT systems and completing electronic records
- Willing to be hands-on when required
Previous experience within commercial cleaning, cleaning supervision, facilities management or multi-site service delivery would be an advantage.
Driving requirements
A full UK driving licence is essential, as the role involves regular travel between client sites using a company vehicle.
Due to the requirements of our company vehicle insurance, applicants must be aged 26 or over.
