Job Summary:

The Production Supervisor / Manager provides leadership for manufacturing operations by directing production activities, developing frontline leaders, and ensuring the efficient execution of production schedules. Working collaboratively with cross-functional departments, this role drives operational performance through effective resource management, employee development, and continuous improvement. The Production Manager plays a critical role in achieving safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives that support customer satisfaction and organizational success.

Required Qualifications:

· Associate degree, technical education, equivalent military training, apprenticeship, or demonstrated combination of education and relevant experience.

· Experience optimizing production with industrial automation, robotic manufacturing systems, or collaborative robotic technologies within a production environment, including setup, operation, troubleshooting, process optimization, or production support.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree, equivalent education, military training, apprenticeship, or demonstrated combination of education and progressively responsible manufacturing leadership experience.

· Training or certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Project Management, supervisory leadership, or continuous improvement methodologies.

Required Experience:

· Progressive leadership experience within manufacturing, industrial, or production operations.

· Experience leading production teams and supervising frontline leaders in a manufacturing environment.

· Experience coordinating production schedules, labor resources, and operational priorities to meet customer commitments.

· Demonstrated experience using operational metrics to improve safety, quality, productivity, and delivery performance.

· Experience coaching employees, managing performance, and developing supervisors or team leads.

Preferred Experience:

· Experience within composite manufacturing, industrial fabrication, aerospace, automotive, or related manufacturing industries.

· Experience supporting startup manufacturing operations or facility expansions.

· Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives that improved operational performance.

· Experience working within ISO, customer quality systems, or regulated manufacturing environments.

· Experience supporting capital equipment implementation or manufacturing process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead daily production operations to achieve safety, quality, productivity, cost, and customer delivery objectives across assigned manufacturing areas and shifts.

Direct and develop Production Supervisors and frontline employees by establishing performance expectations, coaching leaders, and fostering accountability and continuous improvement.

Coordinate production schedules, labor resources, equipment availability, and material readiness to maximize manufacturing efficiency and schedule attainment.

Monitor operational performance metrics and implement corrective actions that improve throughput, quality, labor utilization, and overall manufacturing performance.

Partner with Maintenance, Materials, Quality, Safety, and Engineering to resolve operational constraints and support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

Champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance manufacturing processes, reduce waste, improve productivity, and strengthen operational performance.

Promote a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and employee engagement while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Support workforce planning, succession development, and operational readiness to meet current production requirements and future business growth.

Environmental, Health & Safety Requirements

· Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and environmental compliance requirements.

· Properly use required PPE and safely operate tools, machinery, and diagnostic equipment.

· Identify, report, and correct unsafe conditions and hazardous work practices.

· Participate in safety investigations, risk assessments, and corrective action activities.

· Work in industrial manufacturing environments with exposure to moving machinery, electrical systems, noise, heat, vibration, dust, chemicals, and varying temperatures.

· Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with housekeeping and 5S standards.

· Participate in required safety training, emergency response procedures, and incident reporting activities.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
