Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Operations Supervisor to lead daily store operations, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for customers and a productive environment for team members. In this role, you will oversee various aspects of store management, including inventory control, sales management, staff supervision, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily store activities, including sales floor operations, inventory management, and cash handling procedures.

- Oversee recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing candidates and selecting qualified personnel to build a strong team.
- Manage scheduling shifts to ensure optimal coverage during peak hours and special promotions.
- Maintain accurate inventory control through stock monitoring, merchandising, stocking, and purchasing activities.
- Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for sales transactions, pricing adjustments, and sales reporting.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to payroll, bookkeeping, budgeting, and operational standards.
- Handle customer service issues promptly to resolve concerns effectively while maintaining positive relationships.
- Support store management in implementing merchandising strategies and promotional campaigns to boost retail sales.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and performance feedback.
Skills
- Proven experience in supervising retail teams with strong leadership capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage managerial conversations confidently.
- Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and basic math for retail math calculations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of retail industry sales techniques, pricing strategies, and merchandising principles.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective customer engagement across diverse populations.
- Experience with recruiting, interviewing, training & development of staff members.
- Familiarity with payroll processing, bookkeeping practices, and budget management.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise operations management tasks such as stock control and cash handling.
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills essential for engaging with clients professionally.
