Job Description:
Reporting to the Head of Business Operations, you will lead the development of Spotless Water's Business Intelligence capability, transforming data into actionable commercial insight. This role will be based at our head office in Frimley.
You will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining scalable reporting solutions using Microsoft Power BI and Azure technologies, helping to create a culture of data-driven decision making across the business.
This is not simply a reporting role. We are looking for a commercially minded analyst who can understand business challenges, identify opportunities, and develop intuitive self-service reporting that empowers teams to answer their own questions whilst maintaining a single source of truth.
Working closely with stakeholders across Operations, Finance, Marketing, Concessions and Senior Leadership, you will help shape our data strategy as the business continues its rapid growth.
Key Responsibilities-
Business Intelligence
- Design and develop enterprise-quality Power BI dashboards and reports
- Develop and maintain semantic data models and reusable datasets
- Build intuitive self-service reporting solutions for business users
- Ensure reporting is accurate, consistent and trusted across the organisation
- Own the reporting roadmap and prioritise BI development
Data Engineering & Azure
- Develop and maintain Azure-based data pipelines
- Design scalable data architecture using Azure services
- Automate data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL)
- Improve data quality, governance and documentation
- Optimise SQL queries and database performance
Commercial Analysis
- Translate business questions into analytical solutions
- Deliver insight that influences strategic and operational decisions
- Identify commercial opportunities through data analysis
- Support pricing, forecasting and growth modelling
- Measure business performance and identify trends
Stakeholder Engagement
- Work directly with senior stakeholders across the business
- Gather reporting requirements and recommend solutions
- Train users to maximise self-service reporting
- Champion data literacy throughout the organisation
- Present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting
- Introduce best practice BI standards and governance
- Evaluate new technologies including AI and Microsoft Fabric
- Help define the future BI strategy for Spotless Water

Salary: starting £40,000 per annum depending on experience
Hours: Monday – Friday (9am to 5:30pm) Full-Time, Fixed Contract
