Key Responsibilities

* Design and develop new mechanical products and components using AutoCAD and SolidWorks. * Prepare detailed manufacturing, assembly, and part drawings in accordance with engineering standards. * Support new product development from concept through production. * Work closely with the Process Engineering team to ensure manufacturability and efficient production. * Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), engineering drawings, and design documentation. * Implement and manage Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and Engineering Change Orders (ECO). * Perform drawing revisions, corrections, and PPAP documentation updates. * Design tools, jigs, fixtures, and work\-holding solutions for VMC machining operations. * Coordinate with production, quality, procurement, and manufacturing teams to resolve design and production issues. * Ensure compliance with company standards, quality requirements, and customer specifications.

Required Skills

* Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design and New Product Development (NPD). * Mandatory proficiency in **AutoCAD** and **SolidWorks**. * Strong knowledge of **Process Engineering** and manufacturing processes. * Experience in engineering change management (ECR/ECO/ECN). * Good understanding of mechanical drafting and GD\&T. * Ability to perform drawing corrections and maintain engineering documentation. * Experience in designing tools, jigs, and fixtures for VMC machines. * Strong problem\-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

* Experience in **RF connector design** is an added advantage. * Familiarity with machining, CNC/VMC manufacturing processes, and production support. * Knowledge of DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFA (Design for Assembly) principles.

Qualification

* Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
