We are seeking an experienced Virtual Medical Receptionist / Scheduler to support a busy healthcare practice. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in patient communication, appointment scheduling, and healthcare administrative support while providing an exceptional patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound patient calls professionally.
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.
- Manage provider calendars and appointment availability.
- Assist with patient registration and demographic updates.
- Document patient communications and scheduling notes within the EMR.
- Support patient follow-up and care coordination activities.
- Maintain excellent customer service and professionalism during all patient interactions.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bilingual English/Spanish (Required).
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Receptionist, Medical Scheduler, or Medical Administrative Assistant.
- Experience handling high-volume patient calls.
- Strong appointment scheduling and calendar management experience.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Epic and/or Acumen EMR.
- Patient registration and intake experience.
- Insurance verification experience.
- Experience in Nephrology, Dialysis, Specialty Practices, or Multi-Provider Scheduling environments.
Benefits
Please note that this is a full-time contractor position (40 hours per week) with a pay rate of $6 - $7 per hour depending on skillset and experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM US Time.
