**About the role**

We are looking for a **Product Designer** to join our **Product Design** team in **Sydney**.

Design plays a central role in how customers experience Stake. Every screen, interaction and decision helps shape the confidence people feel when they invest. You'll work alongside Product Managers, Engineers and fellow designers to create thoughtful experiences that make investing feel simpler, faster and more intuitive.

This is a role for someone who's excited to learn by building. You'll own meaningful pieces of customer journeys, contribute from discovery through to delivery and develop your craft alongside experienced designers who care deeply about quality, simplicity and continuous improvement. Every project is an opportunity to sharpen your thinking, strengthen your design practice and create real value for hundreds of thousands of customers.

We work hybrid spending 3 days in our beautiful, dog\-friendly Sydney office.

**What success looks like**

Within your first two years you'll have:

* Designed and shipped experiences that help customers invest with greater confidence and ease. * Taken ownership of meaningful product initiatives from early discovery through to launch, working closely with Product and Engineering. * Used customer research, behavioural insights and data to shape better product decisions and uncover new opportunities. * Helped evolve Stake's design system by contributing patterns, components and improvements that make our products more consistent and scalable. * Built strong partnerships across Product, Engineering and Brand, becoming a trusted contributor throughout the product development process. * Raised the quality of the customer experience by sweating the details, simplifying complex problems and delivering polished, intuitive interactions. * Developed your product thinking and design craft while helping shape how design operates at Stake.

* You have experience designing digital products across web and mobile and enjoy solving complex customer problems with simple, elegant solutions. * You think beyond the interface, balancing customer needs, business goals and technical constraints to make great product decisions. * You're comfortable giving and receiving feedback and see collaboration as a way to produce stronger outcomes. * You're curious about customer behaviour and use research, data and experimentation to guide your thinking. * You care deeply about quality, sweat the details and know when to balance craft with speed. * You're excited to grow in a high\-performing team where ownership, learning and continuous improvement are part of everyday work.

**Bonus if you've ever**

* Worked on consumer fintech, investing or other highly regulated products. * Contributed to or maintained a design system. * Partnered closely with engineers throughout implementation to ensure a high\-quality customer experience. * Used prototyping or motion to communicate interactions and ideas.
