Executive Education is responsible for the development and management of all the school’s non-degree program offerings. The mission of our organization is to “use GSB faculty ideas to inspire global leaders to change their thinking and drive positive impact throughout their organizations.” Executive Education also provides an ideal vehicle for the GSB to experiment with innovation in both content and pedagogy.
The Executive Education programs team seeks an Associate Director of Programs. As part of the GSB Executive Education team, you’ll serve as the face of Executive Education to internal and external audiences in both open enrollment and custom programs. The position will work closely with both faculty and corporate client partners to create and deliver impactful Executive Education programs for senior corporate executives. You’ll help drive the growth of open enrollment programs by leveraging market insights, enrollment trends, competitive analysis, and curriculum innovation to attract highly qualified participants and build dynamic, well-balanced cohorts. This role reports to a Director in GSB Executive Education.
This is a full-time position where the work can be performed with the expectation of being on-site in a hybrid setting of at least 2 days per week. Full-time onsite will be required to support program operations, and work is expected outside of the normal 8 am - 5 pm workday.
Responsibilities:

Lead the planning and operations for multiple high-touch on-campus and blended (on-campus/online) open enrollment and custom programs.

Independently implement, administer, and evaluate day-to-day activities of the program by identifying and executing tasks and objectives, making recommendations that impact policies and programs, and assigning resources to achieve the goals of the program.

Support senior Stanford faculty to redesign programs based on corporate client needs, market opportunities, faculty research, and Stanford differentiation.

Manage and contribute to the development of an outreach strategy that may include participant and custom client relationship development and communications.

May develop and/or oversee budgets; manage finances, including monitoring, analyzing, forecasting, and reporting.

Assess training needs and may develop associated training.

Strong relevant subject matter knowledge.
The budgeted pay range for this position is $120,038 - $133,379 per year.
Core Duties :
- Lead the planning and operations for programs or functions that have significant business, regulatory and/or technical challenges requiring subject matter expertise.
- Evaluate programs or functions, policies and procedures. Identify issues, and develop alternative solutions which may include changes to programs, policies and procedures.
- Review and analyze trends to advise and develop recommendations to achieve or modify the goals of the program or function.
- Represent the program or function within the department, unit or school. Commit resources and provide information and/or training. Represent the program or function at the university level and/or to external/internal stakeholders and constituencies.
- Manage and contribute to the development of outreach strategy that may include relationship development, communications and compliance.
- May develop and/or oversee budgets; manage finances including monitoring, analyzing, forecasting, and reporting.
- Assess training needs and may develop associated training. May direct and/or supervise staff.
- Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree and five years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.
