Your Role Collaborate with data sourcing and architecture teams to build and enhance our data publishing infrastructure, contributing to the evolution of existing and future products Build and maintain scalable data pipelines that support Statista's content management and production processes Develop reliable data orchestration workflows to ensure consistent, automated publishing processes for our content teams Analyze established processes across content and data teams to identify and propose opportunities for optimization and automation Contribute to monitoring and optimization efforts of our data infrastructure to maintain high availability, performance, and security Stay current with developments in AI & Automation to assess and recommend relevant upgrades to our services and tools Mentor junior team members and contribute to architectural decisions that shape the evolution of our data infrastructure Your Profile 3+ years of experience developing ETL processes and data automation workflows using Python Working proficiency in workflow orchestration, containerization, and version control tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Docker, git) Strong SQL skills for data manipulation, querying, and optimization Good understanding of data modeling and architecture principles, with an interest in learning and applying best practices Hands-on experience with cloud services and infrastructure (e.g., AWS: ECS, EC2, RDS); familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code concepts is a plus Excellent spoken and written English skills What we offer In addition to our great team, culture, and our shared goal of empowering people with data, there are many other things that make Statista a great place to work!
