We are looking for experienced Java Developers to join our team in Kraków.
This role is suited to developers with a strong background in backend development, experience working on complex systems, and the ability to take ownership of technical tasks.
Requirements

Minimum 8 years of commercial experience in Java development

Strong knowledge of Java 11/17/21

Solid experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework

Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
-
Experience developing microservices and REST APIs
-
Good understanding of SQL and relational databases
-
Experience with Kafka or other messaging technologies
-
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD processes
-
Experience working in Agile teams
-
Good understanding of software design principles and best practices
-
Good communication skills and English proficiency
Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Java-based applications

Design and implement backend services and APIs
-
Develop, deploy and maintain applications on GCP
-
Work on system improvements and performance optimization

Participate in technical discussions and code reviews

Investigate and resolve technical issues

Collaborate with developers, testers and other project stakeholders

Support the delivery of reliable, maintainable software
Nice to Have

Experience with GCP services such as Cloud Run, GKE, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL or BigQuery

Knowledge of distributed systems

Experience in banking or financial services

Experience with high-volume transactional applications
