Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric.
- Clear Crim record
- Previous retail sales experience is preferred.
- Experience in paint, hardware, building materials, or home improvement sales is advantageous.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with POS systems.
- Ability to work weekends and public holidays when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting suitable paint products, colours, finishes, and painting accessories.
- Provide product knowledge and technical advice on paint applications and surface preparation.
- Prepare paint colour mixes and tint paint according to customer specifications.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Maintain attractive and well-stocked product displays.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control and stock replenishment.
- Promote special offers, new products, and upsell complementary products.
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and returns professionally.
- Ensure the showroom and sales area remain clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow company procedures, health and safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
