That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.</p> <h2><strong>What you’ll do</strong></h2> <h3><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Build and manage user facing products and platforms to lower Stripe’s financial and regulatory risk while retaining a best in class user experience</li> <li>Translate business problems into scalable engineering solutions</li> <li>Collaborate with stakeholders from engineering, product, policy, legal, operations, and data science teams</li> <li>Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack</li> <li>Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes; Identify, analyze, and quickly address emerging risk patterns</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Who you are</strong></h2> <h3><strong>Minimum requirements</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field plus 5 years of software engineering experience</li> <li>5 years of experience building software solutions in Python, Ruby, Java or similar</li> <li>5 years of experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable systems</li> <li>5 years of experience translating business needs into software requirements and designs</li> <li>5 years of experience debugging production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack</li> <li>5 years of experience with distributed systems</li> </ul> <p>Salary: $213,512 - $285,600/yr.</p> <p>This salary range represents the base salary range for the role and any sales commissions/sales bonuses targets, if applicable, would be in addition to the base salary.</p> <p>40 hrs/week</p> <p>Full remote work permitted.</p> <p>Multiple Positions Available.</p> <p>Additional benefits for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits; and wellness stipends.<strong>CA07<span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255);"> </span></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>#LI-DNI</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">#LI-DNI</span></strong><span style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">&nbsp;</span></p>
