VDC Engineer / Lead: BIM 3D-4D-5D (Autodesk + Bentley)
Location: Remote (India), IST working hours with flexibility for US/UK client calls

About the role
We are an established 3D and digital twin company building a new BIM and VDC practice for AEC clients. This is a founding-team hire. You will own delivery from hands-on 3D model production through coordination, 4D scheduling and 5D quantities, and you will help set the workflows, standards and QA that the team inherits.
What you’ll own
- 3D BIM modeling: hands-on Revit modeling across architecture, structure and MEP at LOD 300-500, built to client templates, families and naming standards
- Model quality: setting up and reviewing models yourself and guiding modelers on families, LOD and template discipline
- VDC workflow and standards: BEP development or interpretation, templates, LOD targets and QA checklists
- Coordination: federated models, clash detection, clash categorisation and escalation, and clean shop drawing and IFC output
- 4D: linking the coordinated model to the construction schedule (Primavera P6 or MS Project) and producing planned-vs-actual simulations
- 5D: quantity takeoff and cost integration from the model
- Autodesk and Bentley delivery: working in Revit, Navisworks and ACC, and in MicroStation, ProjectWise and Synchro, and knowing when each fits
- Team and client: guiding modelers and coordinators, and joining client calls on BEP, coordination and technical issues
- Reporting: tracking clash closure, RFI reduction, rework and on-time delivery
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years in BIM/VDC, with real modeling depth and coordination ownership
- Hands-on 3D BIM modeling in Revit. You should be able to build and audit a model, not only coordinate other people’s.
- Hands-on 4D, ideally Synchro, with schedule-linked simulations you built yourself
- 5D quantity and cost integration experience
- Autodesk fluency: Revit, Navisworks and ACC/BIM 360
- Bentley exposure: any of MicroStation, ProjectWise, Synchro or OpenRoads. OpenRoads is rare in India, so it is a plus, not a requirement.
- Working knowledge of ISO 19650 (BEP, CDE, information requirements)
- Named, verifiable project work. Metro, airport, data centre, hospital or other large multi-discipline projects are preferred. Be ready to explain your specific role on them.
- At least one real number from a process you improved (clash reduction, RFI reduction, time saved)
Nice to have
- Scan-to-BIM and point cloud workflows (ReCap, Cyclone)
- Dynamo, pyRevit or other automation
- COBie and asset-data handover experience
- Experience writing BEPs
