SuperMarketing is hiring energetic, creative, and outgoing Social Media Content Creators / On-Camera Talent to produce entertaining TikTok videos, Instagram Reels, and short-form promotional content for supermarkets throughout Long Island and New York City.
We're looking for people who can confidently step in front of a camera, connect with customers, interview employees, showcase products, and turn everyday supermarket experiences into engaging social media content.
IMPORTANT: This is primarily an ON-CAMERA position, not a traditional videographer or video editing role.
If you're naturally entertaining, love social media trends, and enjoy interacting with people, we want to see your personality!
What You'll Do
- Be On Camera: Host and appear in TikTok videos, Instagram Reels, and promotional content.
- Create Engaging Videos: Develop entertaining content featuring supermarket products, food, special offers, and community experiences.
- Interact With Customers: Interview employees, engage with shoppers, and create fun, authentic interactions.
- Bring Creative Ideas: Develop attention-grabbing hooks, trending challenges, taste tests, product discoveries, and original video concepts.
- Film at Supermarkets: Travel to assigned supermarket locations throughout Long Island and NYC to create short-form vertical videos.
- Follow Content Plans: Collaborate with our creative team to execute approved concepts while bringing your own personality and ideas.
- Capture Quality Footage: Use smartphones or company-provided equipment to record engaging, professional-looking content.
- Support Basic Editing: Occasionally assist with simple edits using CapCut or similar apps when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Comfortable speaking, presenting, and performing ON CAMERA.
- Outgoing, personable, enthusiastic, and confident approaching strangers.
- Familiar with TikTok, Instagram Reels, viral trends, and short-form video storytelling.
- Able to create engaging content using a smartphone.
- Creative, resourceful, and comfortable improvising during filming.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, punctual, dependable, and responsive.
- Able to work independently at different client locations.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Must be available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
Previous content creation experience is preferred, but applicants with strong on-camera presence and a compelling video portfolio are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Experience creating TikTok videos, Instagram Reels, or YouTube Shorts.
- Background in acting, hosting, entertainment, interviewing, social media, or content creation.
- Experience working with supermarkets, restaurants, retail stores, or local businesses.
- Knowledge of CapCut or basic mobile video editing.
- Comfortable connecting with people from different cultures and communities.
- Existing social media portfolio demonstrating creativity and on-camera personality.
Schedule & Work Requirements
Required Availability: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 10:00 AM–5:00 PM.
- This is a flexible, on-call position with assignments scheduled according to client needs.
- Most filming sessions take place Tuesday through Thursday.
- Additional assignments may be offered on other weekdays or weekends.
- Filming takes place in person at supermarket locations throughout Long Island and NYC.
- Weekly assignments and total working hours are not guaranteed.
- Travel between client locations may be required.
- Advance scheduling notice will be provided when possible.
