Job Title: Data Analyst Job Summary
We are looking for a detail\-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to collect, process, and interpret data to support business decision\-making. The ideal candidate should be skilled in analyzing large datasets, identifying trends, creating reports, and providing actionable insights to improve business performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Collect, clean, and organize data from multiple sources. * Analyze business data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities. * Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau. * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports. * Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular performance updates. * Work with different departments to understand reporting requirements. * Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity. * Support management with data\-driven recommendations. * Maintain databases and update records as required. * Automate repetitive reporting tasks wherever possible.
Required Skills
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, Advanced Formulas). * Knowledge of SQL for data extraction and analysis. * Experience with Power BI or Tableau. * Understanding of data visualization and reporting. * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills. * Excellent attention to detail. * Good communication and presentation skills. * Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field. * 1–3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role (Freshers with strong analytical skills may also apply). * Certification in Power BI, SQL, or Data Analytics is an added advantage.
