Job Title: Data Analyst Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to collect, process, and interpret data to support business decision-making. The ideal candidate should be skilled in analyzing large datasets, identifying trends, creating reports, and providing actionable insights to improve business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and organize data from multiple sources.
- Analyze business data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
- Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular performance updates.
- Work with different departments to understand reporting requirements.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
- Support management with data-driven recommendations.
- Maintain databases and update records as required.
- Automate repetitive reporting tasks wherever possible.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, Advanced Formulas).
- Knowledge of SQL for data extraction and analysis.
- Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
- Understanding of data visualization and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role (Freshers with strong analytical skills may also apply).
- Certification in Power BI, SQL, or Data Analytics is an added advantage.
