Senior Ecommerce SEO Manager

About the Opportunity
We are hiring a Senior Ecommerce SEO Manager for a well\-established Australia\-based ecommerce brand.
This role offers complete ownership of the brand's organic growth strategy, with a direct impact on traffic, rankings, and revenue. You'll work closely with the brand's leadership and marketing team to drive SEO initiatives across technical SEO, content, local SEO, and emerging AI\-driven search channels.
Unlike traditional agency roles, you will work exclusively with a single brand, allowing you to focus on long\-term growth and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and execute the brand's SEO strategy end\-to\-end * Optimize category pages, product pages, collections, and site architecture * Conduct technical SEO audits and implement improvements * Research, write, and optimize SEO\-focused content including blogs, buying guides, comparison pages, and landing pages * Build and manage the SEO content calendar * Manage Local SEO initiatives across physical store locations * Improve visibility across traditional search engines and emerging AI\-powered search platforms (GEO/AEO) * Track and report on keyword rankings, organic traffic, conversions, and revenue impact
What We're Looking For
* 4\+ years of hands\-on SEO experience * Strong experience with Shopify SEO * Proven success driving organic growth for ecommerce businesses * Strong understanding of technical SEO, on\-page SEO, content SEO, and local SEO * Excellent content writing and content optimization skills * Familiarity with GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) is highly desirable * Strong analytical mindset and ability to work independently
