**Job Function**
T DOT Automation Inc is hiring PLC Programmers with prior experience in Studio5000/RsLogix 5000, Design, Onsite and Offline Programming, Electrical Drawings, Vision Systems, Cameras etc.
**Prior experience in Automotive Manufacturing is a plus.**
Programmer will be responsible for Controls Systems design, Electrical Drawing, Offline and Onsite programming, simulation, testing, start\-ups, buy\-offs, Run @ rate etc.
**Location**
GTA, ON. Travel is required to other parts of Ontario including, London, Windsor, Cambridge etc. with occasional travel to USA.
**Key Duties**
* Perform PLC Programming, drawings, Vision Programming and design work for Automated Systems * Start\-up, commissioning, installation, safety and run at rate projects. * Provide Controls and Automation troubleshooting, debugging and support for automation tasks at various client locations. * Make edits to machine software programs and logics. * Modify and create Human Machine Interface (HMI) screens. * Assist in machine wiring checkout process and perform intermediate machine debugging. * Participate in machine integration and debugging process at customer facilities. * Design and implement controls systems for various applications, ensuring optimal performance reliability. * Utilize VPN technologies to secure remote access to control systems. * Provide support on existing processes and implement change requirements as a part of a structured change control process. * Work within project timelines and constraints, while identifying risks and issues and communicating them to the management accordingly. * Uphold safe work practices and participate in developing and maintaining a culture of safety. * Submit required paperwork timely and accurately. * Understand and comply with customer standards.
**Requirements**
* Diploma or Degree in Electro\-Mechanical Engineering (Robotics and Automation), or Electronics Engineering, or equivalent. * Knowledge of electrical designs and layout. * Minimum 1\-2 years of PLC programming experience, design work, electrical drawings, Allen Bradley RS Logix5000, Studio5000\. * Knowledge of HMI and SCADA programming. * Knowledge of logic and flow diagrams for program design, programming, simulation and testing, and start\-up. * Prior experience in Automotive Manufacturing, Body in White, Integration, Controls System Development, Debugging, etc. is preferred. * Knowledge of Vision Systems including Keyence and Cognex cameras.
**Working Environment**
* Travel between facilities and client locations. * Work flexible hours (day shift, afternoon shifts and night shifts) as per client requirements.
**Required Documentation**
* Valid passport, driver’s license and auto insurance. * Valid work permit is mandatory. * Diploma/Degree and Transcripts. * Travel is required for this position within Canada.

Pay: $35\.00\-$40\.00 per hour
