Position Overview

We're looking for a high-energy General Manager to join the team.

Adaptable: Exhibits resourcefulness and composure under pressure, responding to unexpected challenges with practical solutions. Adjusts staffing, workflow, and operations as needed to maintain service quality and operational efficiency.

Proactive Planning: Anticipates operational needs by maintaining optimal inventory levels for food, beverage, and essential supplies. Monitors usage trends, forecasts requirements, and coordinates with suppliers and team members to prevent shortages or disruptions in service.

Business Awareness: Understands key operational metrics, including inventory management, beverage costs, and labour efficiency. Analyzes data to make informed decisions that optimize profitability, reduce waste, and support the financial health of the business while maintaining quality standards.

What You'll Do

● Lead, coach, and inspire an awesome team to deliver top-tier energy every day.

● Create a welcoming, high-volume environment where guests get amazing hospitality.

● Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service and high standards of quality.

● Jump-in to provide hands-on support in various stations to support the team as needed.

● Coordinate food preparation and cooking processes to maintain consistency and safety standards.

● Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems.

● Complete daily fiscal reporting, including sales, labor actuals vs. projections, and cash reconciliation.

● Manage food and beverage inventory, including periodic counts, ordering, waste reporting, and variance analysis.

● Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.

● Supervise food presentation, serving procedures, and overall restaurant cleanliness.

● Manage scheduling, staff performance, and resolve any operational issues promptly.

● Maintain a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, inclusivity, and personal development.

Education and Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-years’ experience in a food-service management role.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including POS systems, inventory management software, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
  • Valid Food Safe and W.H.M.I.S. certifications.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing +40 lbs., and to stoop, bend, and perform other physical tasks as required.
  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods in order to perform essential job functions.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

  • Toronto, ON M5J 2H7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

  • Quick service & fast food restaurant: 2 years (required)
