ABOUT TAXCALC
TaxCalc is award-winning, HMRC-recognised and MTD-ready accounting software, trusted by more than 12,000 UK accounting firms. Alongside our tax, accounts and compliance products, we build Engager: a cloud-based web application that helps accounting practices onboard clients, send proposals, automate client communications and track tasks and deadlines.
MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
We are a SaaS business scaling at pace, and we are looking for an Automation Test Engineer who is judged on outcomes rather than activity. This role sits at the heart of Engager: you will work closely with the Engager team, taking ownership of Playwright-based automation testing across its front-end screens and API layers, and working with developers and product owners to make sure every release of the web app is reliable, secure and of high quality. You will operate within a close-knit team that places quality assurance at the centre of how we work, and will play a part in embedding these practices across the wider business.
