We have a unique and exciting opportunity for a Robot Programmer using FANUC robots.
Along with our various partners TKE are heavily involved in creating and operating robotic solutions for helping to clean up legacy nuclear waste. You will need to be security vetted which we shall arrange.
What you will do:
· Program with CAM based Robot Programming Software FANUC Roboguide.
· Attend Site and run Fanuc Robots that are integrated into Laser Cutting Machines.
· Spend up to 10 days per month in Cumbria which is paid extra.
· Record learning data and process reports.
· Assist develop new robotic solutions.
· You will have the opportunity to get involved in other Robot works as well in this interesting challenge.
What you will need:
· Some experience using a CAM based Robot Programming systems. Training will be given.
· Experience of programming with ROS or ROS2 would be useful for future works but not essential for the current works.
· An electronics background would be useful.
· The desire to make a real difference to some of the most challenging industrial environmental issues in Europe.
· A proactive and innovative approach.
You will receive a competitive salary and a 10% pension contribution.
