Overview
Team Fostering is an ethical, not-for-profit fostering agency with a strong reputation for providing high-quality foster care for children and young people.
We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic and motivated Marketing Officer to join our Marketing Team and play a key role in promoting fostering, enhancing our brand and supporting the recruitment of foster carers.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of innovative marketing and communications activities across a range of digital and traditional channels. Working closely with colleagues across the agency, you will create engaging content, support social media and website activity, develop marketing materials, attend events and help deliver recruitment campaigns that increase awareness of fostering and attract prospective foster carers.
We offer a blend of home and office-based working arrangements, to support a healthy work-life balance for all our staff. Flexible working arrangements will apply to this post, which will necessitate weekend, evening and home working as required by the business need.
The Successful Candidate
Are you an experienced marketing and communications professional with a passion for making a difference? Do you have experience in social media management, digital communications and creating engaging content using design software, alongside excellent written and verbal communication skills and a good understanding of SEO and wider digital marketing principles?
We are seeking someone who is creative, proactive and customer-focused, with a flexible approach to work and a genuine commitment to improving the lives of children and young people. You will have strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and use marketing performance data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
An understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality and professional boundaries is essential. The successful candidate will be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the role and will hold a current driving licence, have access to a vehicle and be willing to travel as required.
