ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a hands\-on Tech Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of our core products while guiding a team of 10\+ engineers. This is a deeply technical role — you'll spend approximately 70% of your time writing code, reviewing pull requests, and solving complex engineering problems, while also setting technical direction and mentoring the team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Own the architecture, design, and implementation of major features and systems end\-to\-end. * Write high\-quality, production\-grade code daily across the stack (primarily Java and Golang on the backend, with frontend development as needed). * Lead and mentor a team of 10\+ engineers through code reviews. * Collaborate with the product team to shape requirements into well\-defined deliverables. * Break down requirements into clear, well\-scoped tasks for the team. * Track daily status, identify risks and dependencies, and manage mitigation plans. * Manage technical debt and champion best practices in testing, CI/CD, security, and performance. * Troubleshoot critical production issues and drive root\-cause analysis. * Partner with leadership to hire, onboard, and grow engineering talent.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* 6\+ years of professional software development experience, including 4–5 years leading teams or large initiatives. * Deep backend expertise in Java and Golang. * Strong frontend expertise in modern frameworks like React and Angular. * Solid grounding in system design, distributed systems, and API design. * Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), containerization, and CI/CD pipelines. * Proven track record of shipping and operating production systems at scale. * Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor and influence others.
NICE TO HAVE
* Hands\-on experience with Python for services, scripting, or automation. * Strong SQL expertise, including query optimization and schema design. * Experience scaling systems for high traffic or large data volumes. * Exposure to microservices, event\-driven architectures, or platform engineering. * Prior experience in a fast\-paced startup or product company.
Pay: ₹961,181\.79 \- ₹2,246,202\.66 per year
