Job Summary:
Holman Technical Solutions Ltd. is seeking a Technical Operations Manager to manage the people, resources, and technical activities that keep service operations running effectively. This position suits someone who can balance technical priorities with operational leadership while maintaining consistent delivery across multiple workstreams.
What You'll Do:
- Manage daily technical operations and allocate work across the team
- Establish priorities based on service demands and available resources
- Coordinate technical support, maintenance, installation, and related activities
- Monitor workloads and address potential delivery delays
- Ensure teams have the equipment, information, and resources required
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers, contractors, and internal departments
- Review recurring technical issues and organise appropriate corrective actions
- Maintain oversight of operational documentation and service records
- Support the introduction of updated equipment, systems, or working practices
- Review operational results and identify opportunities to improve efficiency
- Provide management with updates on technical activity, capacity, and key concerns
Requirements:
- Experience in technical operations, engineering services, IT, maintenance, technical support, field services, or a related environment
- Strong operational coordination and leadership skills
- Practical understanding of technical service environments
- Ability to organise teams, workloads, and competing priorities
- Good communication and stakeholder-management abilities
- Confident approach to resolving operational and technical challenges
- Comfortable using business systems, technical records, and reporting tools
- Previous management or team leadership experience is advantageous
- Technical qualifications are helpful but not essential where suitable practical experience is demonstrated
