About the Position:
The Senior Developer will be part of the Helix IT team, developing software solutions aligned with strategic business objectives. Working within a diverse team using Agile and Waterfall methodologies, the role involves executing development tasks, applying best practices and analytical skills, translating requirements into detailed designs, implementing solutions using specific technologies, and validating functionality through manual and automated unit testing.
What You Will Do:
- Performs coding, testing and debugging and responsible for overall solution design quality.
- Responsible for key system design and integration decisions; and for communicating decisions to individuals implementing the system
- Works with business partners, architects, and other groups to identify technical and functional needs of system and priority.
- Manages standard system processes and enhancements to system, ensures that solution design adheres to industry software design best practices.
- Works with requirements team and business partners to understand the scope of work, priorities, and requirements for development.
- Works with project teams to deliver new capabilities in business applications and / or remediate issues.
- Contributes to defining timetables and project plans.
- Analyzes and estimates feasibility, cost , time, and compatibility with existing systems.
- Ensures that required application performance levels are achieved.
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on software development experience using .NET technologies, with a strong focus on building and supporting web services.
- Strong expertise in core .NET concepts, including Multi-threading, Generics, Serialization, and Thread Pools.
- Extensive experience in developing and consuming Web Services and Web APIs, including related technologies and frameworks such as WSDL, SOAP, REST, SOAP UI, and client generation for web service consumption.
- In-depth experience implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms for Web APIs.
- Experience deploying and managing APIs and .NET applications in Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms.
- Experience deploying .NET applications using GitHub Actions to Azure App Services and Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS).
- Strong expertise working with RDBMS technologies, particularly Microsoft SQL Server, including the ability to design efficient database structures and write high-performing T-SQL queries.
- Strong front-end development experience using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and React JS, with expertise in cross-browser compatibility and responsive web design.
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience using modern development tools, including Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code (VS Code).
Pay: Php500.00 - Php600.00 per hour
