About the Role:
The Front-end Developer will spearhead the development of a bank-wide financial projection system's front end design. The consultant will have deep expertise in front end tools and a proven track record of delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance frontend solutions for complex enterprise systems. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on development, guiding the team to build exceptional user interfaces.
Scope of Work/Responsibilities:
- Undertake the design and development of advanced frontends for Financial Projection and Asset and Liability System Management 2.0.
- Establish best practices for code quality, performance optimization, and maintainability.
- Work with a team of data engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Build and optimize responsive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces for enterprise-grade applications.
- Work closely with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to align frontend development with business goals.
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate seamlessly into the user experience.
- Ensure all applications meet enterprise standards for security, compliance, and scalability.
- Implement robust error-handling, logging, and monitoring to ensure reliability in production.
- Develop reusable component libraries and design systems to accelerate development across teams.
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 7–10 years of professional experience in front-end or full-stack web development, with a strong focus on front end architecture and design.
- Expertise in modern frontend tools Solid experience in Java for UI and Python programming
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets for real-time interactions.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for data storage and processing.
- Extensive hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries (e.g., Next, React, Angular, Vue) and strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Demonstrated expertise in responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Experience integrating front-end applications with RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend systems.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, design systems, and component-based architecture.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and modern build tools.
- Proven ability to lead or mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and contribute to front-end standards and best practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers.
Nice to Have:
- Relevant certifications or continuous professional training in front-end technologies, UX/UI design, or modern JavaScript frameworks
- Prior experience in enterprise or SaaS environments
Pay: Up to Php145,000.00 per month
