Data Engineer – AWS/Azure

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with 8–10 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, data warehousing, ETL/ELT, cloud technologies, and data integration.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS, Azure, SQL/MySQL, data migration, data modeling, performance optimization, and enterprise data platforms. The candidate should be comfortable working on large-scale data engineering and cloud modernization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration solutions.
- Develop and support enterprise data warehouse solutions.
- Work with AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
- Perform data migration, transformation, integration, and validation across multiple data sources.
- Develop efficient and optimized SQL/MySQL queries.
- Perform database performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Implement data quality, monitoring, reliability, and validation processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production data issues within defined timelines.
- Support cloud migration, modernization, and platform upgrade initiatives.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Architects, QA, and other technical teams.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, development, testing, and deployment.
- Ensure data solutions are scalable, secure, reliable, and performance-optimized.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering
- Strong experience in Data Engineering and Data Warehousing
- Hands-on experience with AWS
- Experience with Microsoft Azure
- Strong SQL / MySQL expertise
- Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT
- Experience with Data Integration and Data Migration
- Good understanding of Data Modeling
- Experience with Performance Optimization and Troubleshooting
- Strong production support and issue-resolution experience
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
