Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled **Senior Backend Developer** with **6–8 years of experience** in backend application development, including strong expertise in **Node.js**. The ideal candidate will have hands\-on experience designing scalable, high\-performance applications, developing RESTful APIs and microservices, and working with cloud\-native technologies. You will play a key role in architecting backend solutions, mentoring team members, and collaborating with cross\-functional teams to deliver robust and secure applications.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using **Node.js**. * Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices with a focus on performance, security, and scalability. * Develop server\-side applications using frameworks such as **Express.js** or **NestJS**. * Design and optimize database schemas and queries for relational and NoSQL databases. * Integrate third\-party APIs, payment gateways, and external services. * Implement authentication and authorization using JWT, OAuth, and other security standards. * Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, QA, and product teams. * Write clean, reusable, and well\-tested code following coding standards and best practices. * Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers. * Troubleshoot production issues, optimize application performance, and ensure high system availability. * Participate in architecture discussions and technical design decisions. * Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.
Required Skills
* 6–8 years of experience in backend software development. * Strong proficiency in **Node.js** and JavaScript/TypeScript. * Hands\-on experience with **Express.js** and/or **NestJS**. * Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, and event\-driven architecture. * Experience with SQL databases such as **PostgreSQL** or **MySQL**. * Experience with NoSQL databases such as **MongoDB** and caching technologies like **Redis**. * Experience with messaging systems such as **Kafka**, **RabbitMQ**, or similar. * Hands\-on experience with **Docker** and **Kubernetes**. * Experience with cloud platforms such as **AWS**, **Azure**, or **Google Cloud Platform (GCP)**. * Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as **Jenkins**, **GitHub Actions**, or **GitLab CI/CD**. * Strong understanding of Git, software design patterns, and backend architecture. * Knowledge of unit testing and integration testing using tools such as **Jest**, **Mocha**, or **Supertest**. * Strong debugging, analytical, and problem\-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. * Experience with GraphQL is a plus. * Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments. * Exposure to serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions). * Cloud certifications are an added advantage.
Pay: ₹500,000\.00 \- ₹800,000\.00 per year
