About Us:
Techtree Engineering Ltd. is a privately owned company serving Western Canada. We provide consulting engineering services to multiple industries with a primary focus on Oil and Gas, Agricultural, and Industrial, Commercial and Residential Buildings.
We have extensive experience in the design of handling equipment, structural design, well control, and downhole tools for the drilling and well servicing industries. We proudly serve the agricultural industry and benefit from several of our engineers having grown up using, modifying, and designing equipment to meet their own farming needs and continue to do so.
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be either an Engineer or Technologist with hands on experience. This is a work from home position with some travel to sites required on occasion. The ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members is a must.
Responsibilities:
* Design and drafting of manufacturing drawings for welded construction * Design and drafting for various machine components * Manufacturing drawings for downhole tools * Assist with project coordination and administration * Provide technical support to other team members * Site inspections and component measurements, as required
Qualifications:
* A degree or technical diploma in design, drafting, or related field * Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Solidworks or Autodesk Inventor * General knowledge of fabrication practices and drawings * Excellent communication and collaboration skills * Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously * Strong attention to detail and problem\-solving skills
