**Overview** We are seeking an organised and proactive **Assistant Transport Manager** to join our office\-based team. You will be responsible for coordinating driver schedules, planning and monitoring deliveries, and ensuring that all transport operations run efficiently and on time. You will work closely with drivers, customers, and management to maintain high service standards and resolve any day\-to\-day transport issues.
**Duties**
* Planning and scheduling driver routes and deliveries. * Monitoring delivery progress and ensuring timely arrivals. * Communicating with drivers, customers, and internal teams. * Handling transport\-related administration and record keeping. * Assisting with daily management of transport operations. * Responding to and resolving any scheduling or delivery issues.
**Experience**
* Strong communication and organisational skills. * Excellent computer skills and confidence using office software. * Ability to work effectively in a fast\-paced environment. * Good problem\-solving skills and attention to detail. * Previous transport, logistics, or scheduling experience desirable but not essential.
