JD – Manual Testing
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze system specifications to understand testing requirements.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Perform manual testing for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
- Identify, document, and track defects using defect tracking tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to discuss testing progress and resolve issues.
- Conduct regression testing after fixes and enhancements.
- Participate in daily stand-up meetings and provide updates on testing status.
- Assist in the development of automated testing frameworks and strategies as needed.
- Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in manual testing of software applications.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
