**DIMENSION / SCOPE OF THE JOB:**
Application \& Product Engineering – Hot Gaskets, Cold Gaskets, Heat Shields
**ROLE \& RESPONSIBILITY OF THE POSTION**
* Study and understand application environment for all HOT gaskets, Cold Gaskets and Heat shields
* Study / prepare part drawings considering engine /package boundary conditions
* Work out design proposals, review with the global team and submit to customer
* Co\-ordinate for manufacturing feasibility
* DVP finalization with customers
* Co\-ordinate with the customers – sales team\- internal departments like purchase, production, quality, maintenance
* Return Part analysis
* Visiting customers as per calendar to generate new business opportunities
* Visiting customers to attend functional quality issues
* Benchmarking of competitor parts
* Participate in White Space analysis with team
* Knowledge \& capability to handle IATF systems/documentation responsibility for Engineering dept.
* Working knowledge of APQP/PPAP processes.
* Team coordination \& management
