The Role
Are you an early-career tester with a curiosity for how card payments really work? We are looking for a Junior Test Analyst to join us in a replacement role within the banking and card-payments space. You will write and execute test cases, track defects and help make sure critical card transaction flows run smoothly. If you have a foundation in manual testing and want to deepen your domain expertise, this is a great place to grow. This is an onsite position, and we are looking for immediate joiners.
What You'll Do
- Write and execute test cases based on business and system requirements
- Perform manual testing across functional, regression, integration and UAT phases
- Validate card transaction flows and related messaging across the card lifecycle, from issuance and activation to settlements, disputes and chargebacks
- Log, track and follow up on defects using tools such as JIRA
- Prepare and maintain test artefacts, including test plans, test cases and test reports (DSR)
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure compliance with banking and card-payment regulations
What We're Looking For
- 1+ years of software testing experience, primarily in manual testing
- Basic understanding of the banking domain and card products such as credit and debit cards
- Understanding of card lifecycle processes and awareness of SICS (Standard Interbank Card System) or similar card processing systems
- Knowledge of testing fundamentals: SDLC, STLC and types of testing (functional, regression, integration, UAT)
- Familiarity with JIRA or similar defect tracking tools
- Basic understanding of web technologies (HTTP, HTTPS, APIs)
- A plus: knowledge of payment networks like Visa and MasterCard, and exposure to test automation
