Job Description
Terminus is seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer to help design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications and technology platforms. The successful candidate will contribute to building reliable software solutions, improving application performance, and developing features that support business and customer needs.
This role involves working with engineering and product teams to solve technical challenges, develop application services, and deliver high-quality software through modern development practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code.
- Build and maintain backend services and REST APIs.
- Develop and improve web application functionality.
- Participate in software architecture and technical design discussions.
- Troubleshoot application issues and implement solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and maintain development standards.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams.
- Improve system performance, reliability, and security.
- Support software testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Technical Skills
- Strong programming knowledge in Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming and data structures.
- Experience with REST APIs and database technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud-based development environments.
- Knowledge of Git, CI/CD, and software testing tools.
- Understanding of distributed systems and application architecture.
- Familiarity with Agile software development practices.
