We are hiring an **Automation / Software Engineer** for our location in **Ohio.**
**Responsibilities**

* Translate customer requirements to software solutions/concepts from concepts to planning and realization to testing, consider customer to requirements * Development of software solutions and software programs for test systems
+ \> Focus on systems special layer (C\#,…) + \> Implement communication protocols between components, equipment \& test units + \> Realize test sequences in our standard software + \> PLC solutions * Commission, test, and troubleshoot software on aerospace test equipment * Ensure data integrity, change management and compliance with customer requirements * Cooperate with customer support team for handling customer support/service needs **Qualifications**

* University degree in Aerospace Systems Engineering, Electrical\-/Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering * Minimum 3 years on job experience * Minimum 2 years experience with mechatronics / automation solutions * Strong software / system design skills C\+\+ and C\# * Experience in PLC development * Experience with Data Management / Database (f.e. MS SQL,…) * Ideal good understanding of electrics, pneumatics hydraulics and mechanical systems \- automation technology * Outstanding analytical skills \& interest to be on the product and managing code in interaction with real equipment and process * Motivated, self\-directed and comfortable to work on real equipment **Benefits**
