We are looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer!
We are seeking a hands-on Senior Analytics Engineer with 10+ years of experience across data engineering, data modeling, and analytics/reporting. This is not a Power BI-only role; we need a professional capable of building reliable data pipelines, transforming complex datasets, and delivering high-quality analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and enhance data pipelines and transformation workflows using dbt and Python DAGs in Airflow.
- Develop reliable, reusable, and scalable data models for analytics and reporting.
- Write complex SQL queries to investigate data, troubleshoot issues, and implement transformations.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, semantic models, and DAX measures.
- Translate business requirements into effective data models and reporting solutions.
- Perform data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and data quality checks.
- Troubleshoot and support existing data pipelines and analytics solutions.
- Leverage AI tools to improve productivity, streamline workflows, and enhance analytical tasks.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, BI, or related roles.
- Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
- Advanced Python skills for data pipelines, complex transformations, and integrations.
- Hands-on experience with dbt and/or modern ELT and data transformation practices.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, including dimensional modeling, fact and dimension tables, and analytics datasets.
- Experience with modern cloud data warehouses, preferably Snowflake.
- Strong Power BI expertise, including data modeling, DAX, dashboard development, and performance optimization.
- Ability to understand unfamiliar datasets, identify data relationships, detect data quality issues, and define transformation requirements.
- Experience debugging and supporting existing data pipelines and analytics solutions.
- Familiarity with AI tools to enhance productivity.
