Junior Project Manager - Wastewater Industry
Support the delivery of smarter wastewater monitoring programmes with Tetra Tech
Purpose and scope of the role
Tetra Tech is seeking a motivated Junior Project Manager to support the delivery of wastewater monitoring and sampling services for UK water utilities. Based primarily in Brentford, you will assist with multi-site programmes and frameworks across London and the South West of England, with potential delivery further afield.
Working closely with experienced project managers, clients, regional field crews and office-based specialists, you will support projects from inception through to handover. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your project management skills while contributing to important programmes that support environmental protection and reduce pollution risk.
Your responsibilities will include supporting programme planning, coordinating resources, monitoring progress, maintaining project records, assisting with quality and safety assurance, communicating with stakeholders and contributing to data analysis and continuous improvement. You will help ensure projects are delivered to agreed scope, timescales, budgets and quality standards.
This permanent role offers a salary from £41,000 plus car allowance and an immediate start.
Your impact in this position
In the short term, you will support the coordination and delivery of existing wastewater monitoring programmes, helping to improve communication between field and office teams. Over the medium term, you will develop your confidence in project planning, stakeholder management, commercial awareness and operational delivery.
With the right support and development, you can progress into a Project Manager role and, in time, take on responsibility for larger and more complex programmes.
You will work on significant water-industry programmes that support environmental protection, reduce pollution risk and help safeguard communities.
