Help Build the Next Big Brand in Women's Professional Sports.
The Texas Elite Spartans are one of the most successful clubs in women's professional tackle football. We're championship winners, we're growing fast, and we're building a sports business with enormous potential. Now we're looking for an experienced, results-driven PR & Marketing leader who wants more than a job.
This is an opportunity for someone who knows how to get stories told, create buzz, build meaningful media relationships, and turn attention into measurable business growth.
We're not looking for someone to simply manage social media or write press releases. We're looking for someone who knows how to make news, secure coverage, build a brand, and deliver results.
And for the right person, this opportunity could lead to a full-time leadership position with an equity stake in the club. What You'll Be Responsible For
Public Relations & Earned Media
- Develop and execute a PR strategy that puts the Texas Elite Spartans in DFW headlines.
- Secure meaningful local, and regional media coverage.
- Build and leverage relationships with journalists, editors, producers, and influential media outlets.
- Identify and pitch compelling stories about our athletes, championship culture, business growth, and community impact.
- Position the Spartans as a leading voice in the growth of women's professional sports.
Marketing & Business Growth
- Lead marketing campaigns that drive ticket sales, fan acquisition, attendance, and brand awareness.
- Develop creative strategies to expand our reach throughout Dallas–Fort Worth.
- Create opportunities for influencer partnerships, community engagement, and brand collaborations.
- Work with club leadership to support sponsorship visibility and commercial growth.
- Translate PR and marketing efforts into measurable business results.
Brand & Digital Strategy
- Help shape the Spartans' brand voice, positioning, and public image.
- Lead the club's content and social media strategy.
- Collaborate with creators, photographers, and videographers to tell stories that move people.
- Build campaigns around major announcements, athletes, partnerships, and the 2027 season.
What Success Looks Like
This is a results-driven position. We care about what you accomplish, not just how busy you are. Success will be measured by:
- Quality and volume of earned media coverage.
- Increased brand awareness and audience engagement.
- Marketing-driven season ticket sales and game attendance.
- Growth in media, influencer, and community relationships.
- Execution of effective campaigns that support club revenue and visibility.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for an experienced PR professional with the instincts, relationships, and drive to create momentum. You should bring:
- 5+ years of experience in public relations, media relations, communications, or brand marketing.
- A proven track record of securing earned media coverage.
- Strong media relationships and excellent storytelling and pitching skills.
- Experience developing PR campaigns and executing them independently.
- An understanding of digital marketing, social media, and brand building.
- A commercial mindset that connects publicity and marketing to business outcomes.
- The ability to operate independently, move quickly, and deliver without a large team or budget.
Sports, entertainment, lifestyle, or consumer brand experience is a plus.
We're especially interested in people who have built something, helped grow an emerging brand, or know how to create big results with limited resources.
Why This Opportunity Is Different
We're building something with real momentum, and we want the right person to have a meaningful role in its future. This position begins as a paid temporary engagement, giving both sides an opportunity to work together, establish clear performance goals, and demonstrate results.
For the right candidate, there is a pathway to:
- A permanent, full-time leadership position.
- An equity stake in the business, subject to a separate agreement and performance milestones.
- Greater responsibility in shaping the future of the club.
- Long-term professional and financial upside tied to the growth of the organization.
We're looking for someone who sees what we're building and wants to help make it bigger.
How to Apply
Send us your resume and 2–3 examples of DFW media coverage or PR campaigns you personally helped secure or lead. We want to understand your role, your approach, and the results you delivered.
A brief note about why the Texas Elite Spartans opportunity interests you is encouraged.
If you know how to build a brand, earn attention, and turn opportunities into results, we'd love to meet you.
