**Key accountabilities of a Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME):**
1\. Ensure compliance with all NZCAA Rule Part 145 requirements and the company’s Exposition, policies and procedures.
2\. Carry out aircraft maintenance tasks on the aircraft and its components as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
3\. To ensure that all physical activity on the aircraft is performed to the appropriate standards and within the specified timeframes.
4\. Actively participate to maintain reliability above 98\.5%
5\. Reporting safety issues and concerns through the Texel Air safety reporting system.
6\. This position will be subject to random alcohol and drug testing.
**Essentials Skills Required:**
1\. Meet the requirements for the issue of a Texel Air Maintenance Authorisation on the B737\-800\.
2\. Base and Line maintenance experience (Line Maintenance Preferred)
3\. Attentive to detail and pragmatic in approach.
4\. A competent communicator.
5\. The ability to obtain an airport security clearance (ASIC).
