Job Description:
The IT Infrastructure & Security Manager is responsible for the security, reliability and effective management of the company's IT ecosystem, including cloud infrastructure, internally developed systems, servers, databases, Microsoft 365, cybersecurity and IT governance. The role manages the IT Support Specialist and external technology and security providers.
This role will require strong organization, excellent time and project management skills, proactivity, and communication with colleagues / other departments within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and improve our IT infrastructure, including cloud services, servers, databases, networks, devices and the systems behind our in-house tools
- Own and administer our Microsoft 365 environment, including Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune and Defender
- Own and improve our cybersecurity, including identity and access security, endpoint protection, password management, email and domain security, vulnerability management and security monitoring
- Coordinate security audits, vulnerability assessments and penetration tests, and make sure every finding is fixed
- Develop and maintain IT and information-security policies and procedures that meet company needs, regulations and best practices
- Identify and manage technology and cybersecurity risks, and own the IT side of business continuity and disaster recovery planning, documentation and testing
- Manage and develop our IT Support Specialist
- Work with external IT, cloud and cybersecurity providers to ensure clear responsibilities, good service levels and reliable delivery
- Set IT priorities, budgets and technology upgrade plans, and look for ways to automate, work more efficiently and adopt useful new technologies
- Explain technical topics to management as clear business risks and recommendations, and report on IT performance, security and key risks
Required skills:
- Strong experience managing cloud IT infrastructure, servers, databases and business-critical systems.
- Strong Microsoft 365 experience, particularly Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, Microsoft Defender and related security solutions.
- Strong cybersecurity knowledge across cloud, endpoints, identity and access, servers, databases and applications.
- Experience with IT and information-security policies, vulnerability management, security audits, incident management and remediation.
- Good understanding of IT risk management, data protection, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery.
- Experience managing IT team members and external technology and cybersecurity providers.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with sufficient technical expertise to independently assess solutions and risks.
- Strong ownership and follow-through, with the ability to drive topics from identification through implementation and closure.
- Ability to translate technical topics into clear business impact and communicate effectively with management and international teams.
- Ability to continuously learn, evaluate emerging technologies and identify solutions relevant to the company's needs.
- Relevant Microsoft, cloud, infrastructure or cybersecurity certifications are an advantage.
