Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run. We want you as a talented Electronics Laboratory Technician to help us in our mission by assembling and testing electronic units that will compose our Nyx Avionics system. Key Responsibilities In your capacity as an Electronics Laboratory Technician, your role will be continuously evolving, but day to day your duties will include: Managing the electronics laboratory and being first point of contact for development engineers Assembly of PCB Prototypes using Hand- and Reflow-Soldering Crimping and soldering of test harnesses Testing PCBs and Units according to test procedures Inspection of incoming PCBs (raw and assembled) Test platform set up (Test setup and automation) Manage the calibration of laboratory equipment What we would love to see from you In the role of Electronics Laboratory Technician ideally, you have collected some experience with the following: Hands-on soldering (soldering iron and reflow) Hands-on test experience of electronics circuits and units Basic knowledge of test automation and setups Testing experience of electronics circuits using Oscilloscopes, etc. English communication vocal and written Experience with Python for test automation is a plus Experience with Altium Designer is a plus Basic understanding of space avionics is a plus Why you should join us!
