Job Description
§ Gets to know the guest personally and recognizes their preferences.
§ Anticipates the guest needs and acts accordingly.
§ Services food & beverage to guest and it’s speedy clearance.
§ Provides guest assistance in every possible way.
§ Has good knowledge of the local area to be able to offer suggestions/recommendations if required.
§ Has thoroughly knowledge of hotel facilities including the timings, charges, cuisine served in different outlets, different outdoor activities and offer assistance to make the reservation/booking.
§ Has the ability to coordinate with the guest in order to meet his/her needs efficiently.
§ Coordinates with other departments to ensure guest’s satisfaction.
§ Maintains a handover sheet which is a record of guest requests and handled by him/her or passed on to any other person/department.
§ Ensures that all duties are carried out in line with Hotel Policy with high standards of personal appearance, personal hygiene correct uniform and name badge as outline in the standard.
§ Completes other responsibilities as assigned.
Job Requirement
§ Degree: Vocational School Certificate or Diploma in Hotel Administration or equivalent.
§ One year in front office/guest services operations, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
§ Must have a well-groomed appearance.
§ Ability to communicate fluently in the primary language of the workplace both verbally and non-verbally. Fluent in English is preferred.
§ Organize, can multi-task, good problem-solving skills and detail oriented.
§ Microsoft Office knowledge is preferred.
