Job Description
- Match supplier delivery notes, purchase orders, and tax invoices accurately.
- Reconcile debtor customer accounts daily against incoming bank deposits and receipts.
- Perform monthly supplier statement reconciliations against the creditors sub-ledger systematically.
- Post credit notes, debit adjustments, and bank charges into the accounting system.
- Allocate customer payment remittances quickly to ensure ledger records remain up to date.
- Follow up on overdue accounts through friendly, professional phone calls and emails.
What You Need to Apply
- Matric (Grade 12) with core Mathematics or Accounting.
- At least 3 to 5 years of hands-on debtors and creditors experience.
- Practical working experience using Sage Evolution, Pastel Partner, or similar accounting software.
- Solid Microsoft skills, including Excel and Word.
- Sound practical understanding of standard South African VAT rules and tax invoices.
- Accurate numerical ability paired with strong attention to everyday ledger detail.
