Job Description
- Capture daily local EFT payments and foreign transfers quickly on secure online banking portals.
- Check supplier invoices, purchase orders, and delivery slips to ensure payment amounts match up correctly.
- Load verified vendor banking profiles onto the system ready for final management approval.
- Pull morning bank statements to track account balances and monitor daily working cash flow.
- Spot missing details or invoice calculation errors early and follow up politely with suppliers.
- Track scheduled loan dates to make sure all commitments are paid on time without delay.
- Keep clean digital filing records and follow standard rules to protect against payment fraud.
What You Need to Apply
- National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration would be an advantageous.
- 1 to 2 years of practical experience in accounts payable, creditors, or payments processing.
- Hands-on experience using corporate banking portals like Standard Bank, Nedbank, FNB, or ABSA.
- Working knowledge of Sage ERP or a similar accounting software system.
- Basic understanding of foreign exchange (Forex) payments and cross-border paperwork.
- Strong attention to detail with accurate number entry on banking and invoice amounts.
