Key Responsibilities1. Stock & Inventory Management

  • Maintain accurate records of raw materials, components, finished goods, and other inventory.
  • Monitor daily stock levels and identify shortages, excess stock, slow-moving, and obsolete materials.
  • Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconciliation with system records.
  • Investigate and report stock discrepancies and take corrective action.
  • Ensure proper identification, labeling, storage, and traceability of materials.
  • Maintain minimum/maximum stock levels as defined by the company.

2. Incoming Material Control & Inspection

  • Coordinate receipt of incoming materials from suppliers.
  • Verify material quantity against Purchase Order, Delivery Challan, and system records.
  • Coordinate with the Quality team for incoming material inspection.
  • Ensure inspected/approved materials are properly updated in the system and moved to the appropriate storage location.
  • Segregate and track rejected, damaged, or non-conforming materials.
  • Maintain records of inspection status and material acceptance/rejection.

3. Outgoing Material & Production Issue

  • Control material issuance to the production line as per production requirements/BOM.
  • Verify material quantity and part numbers before issuing material to production.
  • Record all material issues, returns, transfers, and adjustments in the ERP/system.
  • Ensure FIFO/FEFO principles are followed wherever applicable.
  • Monitor material consumption against production orders and identify abnormal consumption.
  • Coordinate with Production and Planning teams to ensure uninterrupted material availability.

4. Production Line & System Checks

  • Monitor material availability and movement on the production line.
  • Check system transactions for material receipt, issue, transfer, return, and consumption.
  • Ensure physical material movement matches ERP/system transactions.
  • Verify production orders, material requirements, and line-side stock.
  • Identify system errors, incorrect transactions, or quantity mismatches and coordinate for correction.
  • Maintain proper traceability of materials from receiving through production.

5. Inventory Analysis & Reporting

  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly stock and material movement reports.
  • Track opening stock, receipts, issues, returns, closing stock, and variances.
  • Analyze inventory discrepancies and prepare variance reports.
  • Provide stock status reports to Production, Planning, Purchase, and Management.
  • Monitor stock aging and highlight slow-moving/excess inventory.
  • Support monthly and annual physical inventory/counting activities.

6. Coordination

  • Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchase, Planning, Stores, Warehouse, and Finance departments.
  • Follow up on material shortages and urgent production requirements.
  • Coordinate with Quality for rejected/hold materials.
  • Support Purchase/Planning teams by providing accurate stock availability and consumption information.
  • Escalate critical stock shortages, discrepancies, and system issues to the concerned department.

Required Skills

  • Good knowledge of inventory and material management.
  • Understanding of incoming/outgoing material processes.
  • Basic knowledge of material inspection and quality procedures.
  • Good knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and inventory transactions.
  • Strong MS Excel skills, including filters, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and basic data analysis.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good coordination and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under production deadlines.
  • Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO and material traceability.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
