Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Engineering Estimator Programmer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing accurate cost estimates and programming solutions for engineering projects.
- The requirements in your role as an Estimator Programmer are as follows but not limited to: -
· Estimating of Subcontract orders.
· To ascertain the most cost-effective processes for manufacture.
· Obtaining material prices based on customer specification.
· Obtaining quotes for external processes.
· Reviewing of component drawings prior to programming.
· CNC programming for machine tools.
· Up-issuing of CNC programs on design request.
· Implement post processor improvements.
· Modelling of components for programming and plate kits for quoting.
· Proactive reviews of CNC programs and manufacturing processes for continuous improvements.
· Keeping up to date with advances in tooling technology and implementing where necessary.
· Tooling and welding Kanban control.
· Issue raw material ‘DXF’ files to suppliers.
· Proactive reviews with production management and supervision.
· Ensure activities and procedures are as per the Broadbent QA / QC Standards and ensure total quality assurance of all specifications.
· You must ensure that the components are correctly and completely manufactured in accordance with engineering specification detail drawing requirements and quality plans.
Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
